Many were mind blown, disgusted, etc… I have been teetering on the edge of despair. Plus, Donald is doing an excellent job at confirming our fears that he is unfit for the job. But it has just occurred to me that we may be taking too shallow of a perspective on the issue.
I think his election may be an important, purposeful message. Rather than being a serious matter of great concern, likely setting us on a course to disaster, I think we are being shown by example that our government is a bunch of bullshit nonsense and not really worth our attention. Regardless of how it's packaged and presented, the government/ruling class is going to do what it's going to do and there's no sense in worrying about it, because there's nothing we can do about it.
While staying informed and even participating and influencing government activity appears to be an especially important and responsible endeavor, ultimately, it seems it may be just as worthwhile to expend that effort on Days Of Our Lives.
Our maybe I've finally succumbed to despair…
