Time for a New Christianity because this one we have is ALL f'ed up...

FORGIVENESS. Indeed, forgiveness is one of the cornerstones of Christianity. Please correct me if I'm mistaken, but in my view it is indisputable. A Christian is nothing if not forgiving.
That said...
Is not "Banishment into the pits of hell for all eternity" the virtual textbook ANTITHESIS of Forgiveness? They don't even have to say, "Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200." 'Cause it doesn't matter - you're going to HELL... FOREVER... and once that's over... you STAY IN HELL, BECAUSE IT'S FOREVER!
Now, is it just me? or is there some kind of FUNDAMENTAL INCONGRUENCE/INCONSISTENCY going on here??????
